
Armed Forces Community Manager

This role leads the delivery of the Peninsula VALOUR Recognised Centre (VRC), supporting veterans across Devon and Cornwall. You will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality, accessible, and joined-up service that helps veterans access the right support at the right time. This includes managing day-to-day delivery, coordinating partners, and overseeing performance and outcomes.
You will work closely with colleagues, partners, and national stakeholders to ensure the service meets programme requirements, delivers impact, and continues to improve. Alongside this, you will support a welcoming, community-led offer that builds connection, confidence, and independence for veterans and their families, shaped by their experiences and feedback.

The VALOUR Programme
VALOUR is a national programme led by the Office for Veterans’ Affairs, designed to improve how veterans access support across the UK. The programme brings services together to ensure veterans can access the right help, at the right time, in the right place.

At ILP, we will deliver the Peninsula VALOUR Recognised Centre (VRC), supporting veterans across Devon and Cornwall. We work with a range of partners to provide a coordinated, community-based offer that supports wellbeing, independence, and connection.
