Improving Lives Plymouth has been supporting the city through the winter months since our founding in 1907. Our work predates both the NHS and the Welfare State, and we have no plans to stop now.
We are proudly built on the traditions of local resilience and Plymothians helping one another. If you need support this season, or if you would like to help us continue providing it, you are in the right place.

Get Your NHS Hearing Aids Christmas-Ready
Ensure you can fully enjoy Christmas conversations with a comprehensive NHS hearing aid check at Sensory Solutions. Our team provides retubing, battery collection, general hearing aid advice, and guidance on equipment and loan options to help you hear more clearly during festive gatherings.
Appointments are available Monday to Friday, 10:00–12:30 and 13:30–16:00, until 18 December.
